The petitioner is A3 in a criminal complaint culminated in filing of final report and taken on file in C.C.No.114 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Cuddalore.
2. The petitioner wants to quash the complaint stating that there is no overt act attributed to him as per the statement of the witnesses.
3. However, on reading the statement of witnesses finds that this petitioner used tortuous word to abuse the District Collector which cannot be extracted and it is for the petitioner under the guise of conducting the protest meet had spoken filthy language abusing the officials. Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the complaint.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Vv 07.11.2023 2/4
