This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the order in Na.Ka.No.788/2023/A6 dated 27.09.2023 passed by the third respondent and to quash the same and also to direct the third respondent to conduct survey, measure the
lands, mark the boundaries for the property situated in R.S.No.83/2, Vadamangalam Village, Thiruvarur Taluk.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is the contention of the petitioner is that he submitted application dated 25.07.2023 to survey his lands before the third respondent. After issuance of notice to the fifth respondent and the petitioner, the third respondent rejected the petitioner's application without proper reason.
4. Taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the petitioner to file a fresh application to the Tahsildar, Thiruvarur Taluk, who is the third respondent herein to survey his land. On receipt of petitioner's application and if it is otherwise in
order, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and measure the land and complete his exercise in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the petitioner's application.
5. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 19.10.2023 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No
