121186 of 2025 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J., AND K.RAJASEKAR.J., (Order of the Cout was made by C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.,) This petition had been filed seeking to condone the delay of 275 days in filing the appeal against the judgment and decree dated 30.07.2024 passed in M.C.O.P.No.3784 of 2021 by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, II Special Judge, Court of Small Causes, Chennai.

2.Notice had been directed and Mr.M.Malar, learned counsel has entered appearance for Respondents 1 to 3.

3. In the affidavit giving reasons for the delay, it had been stated that due to change of counsel, the appeal could not be filed in time.

4.Taking all factors into consideration, the delay in filing the appeal is condoned. Accordingly, this petition is allowed.

The Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order. When the appeal is listed for admission, the name of the counsel for respondents shall be printed in the cause list.
