This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Cr.No.179 of 2024 pending on his file.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

3. The case pertains to money transaction. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case has been registered in the year 2024, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the present petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost over and the respondent police will be filing the final report within a period of six weeks.

5. In view of the submissions of the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondents/police, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to file the final report within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
