O R D E R

The writ petition has been instituted to direct the 6th respondent to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 11.11.2016 to cancel the settlement deed dated 15.04.2016. 2.The representation was submitted based on the Circular No.67 issued by the Government, empowering the Registrar to cancel the document. However Circular No.67 issued by the Government had already been withdrawn and therefore, the representation submitted by the writ petitioner in the year 2016 lost its relevance. 2/4

3.Subsequently, an amendment has been made by inserting Section 77(A) in the Registration Act. Therefore, it is for the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. (sha) 04.07.2023 Index : Yes Speaking Order To
