him as such and as General Manager of the said Bank and grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits and grant such other relief. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated 14.09.2023.

2. On a perusal of the impugned order, it can be seen that the petitioner's request for promotion was rejected, however, by the Administrator of the Cooperative Societies. In view thereof, under Article 226 of the Constitution of the India, the Writ Petition is not maintainable and the petitioner can avail the remedy of revision under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983. Therefore, this Writ Petition is

disposed of on the following terms:- (i) The petitioner shall file a revision under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; (ii) As and when the revision is filed within the above prescribed time, after hearing the petitioner as well as the representative of the Co-operative Society, the Revisional Authority shall pass final orders, in accordance with law, within a period of 10 weeks therefrom;

(iii) No costs.
