O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to grant fresh police verification report without containing remarks about the Criminal Case in Crime No.579 of 2024 on the file of the 3rd respondent Police with immediate effect.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the documents placed on record.

3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the FIR was registered in Crime No. 579 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNSS and the same has been closed by the 3rd 2/4

respondent police and negative final report was also filed, which has been accepted by the trial court. Such being the position, when the petitioner applied for job, in police verification report, now, it is recorded as if the petitioner found to be involved in criminal case and the stage of the case is mentioned as 'Referred'. According to the petitioner, that 'Referred' cause serious impact and consequences in getting a job.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions would submit that the 3rd repsondent police will issue police verification report including closure of the FIR against the petitioner indicating clear details.

5. In such view of the matter, the 3rd respondent police is directed issue fresh Police Verification Report indicating that "No case is pending against the petitioner and FIR filed against him has already been closed as Mistake of Fact".

With the above direction, the petition stands allowed. 26.08.2025 Note: Registry is directed to issue order copy on 28.08.2025 3/4
