This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 21.07.2022 made in W.P.No.8689 of 2019. 1 / 4
2. Today when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.S.Silambanan, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent submitted that pursuant to the orders passed by this Court in the writ petition as well as the subsequent orders passed in this contempt petition, the plea raised by the petitioner having been considered, the District Educational Officer, Kancheepuram (Elementary Education) has issued the proceedings dated 01.12.2023, whereby the appointment of Gayatri Devi as Secondary grade teacher with effect from 06.03.2017 in the school concerned has been approved., with the sanctioning of salary from the date ie., 06.03.2017, of course with some conditions.
3. Since the orders of this Court has been complied with by issuance of the proceedings by the DEO Kancheepuram (Elementary Education), no further persuasive action is required in this contempt petition. The contempt petition is closed.
