The writ petition has been filed to quash the proceedings of the respondent in No.629/Tha.Pi.2/2017, dated 10.05.2017 and direct the respondent to grant permission for conducting token silent fast at last last week of May 2017 subject to the convenience of the respondent.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous and nothing survive in this petition. 3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
