The petitioner seeks a direction against the respondents 1 to 3 to not to interfere with the business of the petitioner's shop, viz., 'New Badam Milk Shop'

2. According to the petitioner, the respondents are interfering with the petitioner's business. The petitioner is running a badam milk shop and the same has been prevented, therefore, the petitioner seeks a direction.

3. The only contention of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents is that the petitioner has to make some arrangement for the visitors, who are visiting the shop and they cannot allow the nuisance to be continued in front of the shop.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the documents placed on record.

5. It is relevant to note that the Government of Tamilnadu vide G.O.Ms.No.61 Labour Welfare and Skill Developments (Ks) dated 02.06.2022 permitted all shops and establishments to contitue to be open for 24X7 in all days of the year. Subsequently, it appears that the same has already been extended in G.O.D.No.207 dated 08.05.2025 by the Labour 2/4

Welfare and Skill Developments Department.

In such view of the matter, the respondents cannot insist for closure of the shop, in the meanwhile, the petitioner shall take steps to prevent unnecessary nuisance in front of the shop and the petitioner shall also make sufficient arrangements for the visitors, who are visiting the shop, i.e., seating arrangement etc., in the shop. With the above direction, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 28.08.2025 To
