Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to pass an order of direction, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to grant Police Protection for life of the petitioner and his family members and his mother's property situated at Survey No.383/1, measuring about 1.86 cents situated at Mappadugai Village Mayiladudurai Taluk, Nagapattinam District. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to grant Police Protection for life of the petitioner and his family members and his mother's property situated at Survey No.383/1, measuring about 1.86 cents situated at Mappadugai Village Mayiladudurai Taluk, Nagapattinam District.

2. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
