This petition is filed to condone the delay of 28 days in filing the above Appeal.

2.Though notice has been served on the respondent and his name is printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the 1st respondent either in person or through counsel.

3.Considering the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the delay of 28 days is condoned on payment of a cost of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) to the 'Kaakkum Karangal' (Old age Home) at No.212/54, Amman Kovil Street, Parrys, Chennai 600 001 [Cell No.9840068800/ 9840068889], within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which this petition shall stand dismissed automatically, without further reference to this Court.
