This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent police to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 22.10.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) for the respondents.

3. It is seen that on the complaint received from the petitioner, the same was referred to the file of the Revenue Divisional Officer by the 3rd respondent. Now, it is pending for enquiry before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ariyalur.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ariyalur, is directed to issue notice to the concerned parties, conduct enquiry and complete the same within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
