The petitioner seeks bail in S.C.No.55 of 2023 pending on the file of the XXI Additional Judge, Chennai. The charges, which had been framed are under Sections 341, 294(b), 307 & 506(ii) of IPC r/w Section 34 of IPC.
2. It is stated that the petitioner had absconded on 15.03.2023 and was secured on 19.07.2023 after four months. The Non-bailable Warrant is still pending against the 4th accused. There cannot be any progress in the case, if the accused take a decision to abscond one after another from the trial process.
3. It is also stated that there are nine previous cases pending against the petitioner herein, which also implies that there is possibility of the petitioner absconding again.
