C.M.P.No.23930 of 2024 in C.R.P.SR.No.31767 of 2018 A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J., This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 1827 days in representing the CRP SR No.31767 of 2018.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the second petitioner Sivagnanam was following the case before the Court. The revision petition was returned by the Registry on 28.08.2019 for some corrections. Thereafter, during Covid Pandemic, there was communication gap between the petitioner and their counsel and thereby, they were unable to represent the CRP in time. While so, the second petitioner also died during Covid-19 on 22.07.2022 leaving behind his wife, son and daughter and thereby, caused the delay of 1827 days for representing the CRP SR No.31767 of 2018.

A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J., sms 3.Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 1827 days in representing the CRP SR.No.31767 of 2018 is condoned on condition that the petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.2,000/- to the Legal Service Authority, High Court, Chennai, within a period of two weeks.
