ORDER

The allegations in this case is that, on 30.06.2018, when the defacto complaint was travelling in the State Transport Corporation bus, the accused attempted to open her bag and steal the things and at that time, he was caught red handed.

The address of the accused is shown as No.25, Genjaveeran Halli, Tumkur Jilla, Bangalore. Even though the final report is filed on 02.07.2018, the accused remains elusive and in spite of the best efforts, the police is not Page No.1 of 3

able to execute the warrant. Even if the accused is brought to books in future date, considering the nature of allegations and in view of efflux of time, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the matter pending. 3.

In view thereof, the proceedings in C.C.No.68 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Sholinghur Taluk, Ranipet is quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case is allowed.

The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
