ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to issue a direction directing the first respondent police herein to monitor the investigation conducted by the second respondent police in Cr.No.249/2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. It is seen that the petitioner sought for a direction, directing the first respondent police herein to monitor the investigation conducted by the second respondent police. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.249 of 20616 which is pending on his file and file a final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. However, the first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation done by the 2nd respondent and also ensure that the second respondent shall comply with the order passed by this Court.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
