Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order passed by the 2nd respondent in No.2199/E3/2023 dated 22.05.2023 and quash the same, consequently directing the respondents to release the registered document No.20631/2022 dated 27.12.2022 registered before the 1st respondent.

The petitioner who has challenged the impugned order by filing an appeal before the District Registrar, Coimbatore, simultaneously approached this Court by filing the instant Writ Petition for the very same relief.

2. Therefore, the present Writ Petition is not maintainable as the alternative remedy has been availed by the petitioner. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Registrar, Coimbatore, to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, within a period of 1 month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
