ORDER

This Writ Petition have been filed by the petitioner to direct the 3rd respondent to issue patta to the petitioner in Punja Old S.No.43/2A, No.111, Varadharajapuram Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram District as claimed by the petitioner in his representation dated 25.07.2022.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the property in S.No.42, measuring an extent of acre 2.42 cents, S.No.43/2B measuring an extent of acre 2.10 cent and in S.No.43/2A measuring an extent of acre 1.65 cent originally belongs to the petitioner's mother namely Seeniammal by virtue of a Sale Deed registered as Doc.No.176 of 1970 dated 28.01.1970 on the file of SRO, Chengalpet. While so, the petitioner's mother executed a Settlement Deed registered as Doc.No.3991 of 2012 dated Page No.2 of 6

18.06.2012 on the file of the SRO, Padappai, Kanchipuram District in favour of the petitioner. After the bifurcation of the District, the subject matter of the property in S.No.42, 43/2A including 43/2B1 and 43/2B2, Varadharajapuram Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kanchipuram District. The petitioner gave a representation dated 25.07.2022 to the 3rd respondent enclosing all the documents for uploading entry in the computer for issuance of patta to the property in S.No.43/2A, Varadharajapuram Village, but, till date, petitioner's representation was not considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2022 for issuance of patta and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame fixed by this Court.

4.Mr.U.Bharanidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that if any direction is given by Page No.3 of 6

this Court, the same will be complied with.

5.In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2022, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
