ORDER

The allegation in this case is that on 21.10.2011, the accused drove his vehicle in rash and negligent and negligent manner and caused injuries to the witnesses resulting in his death.

2. It is stated that at that point of time, the accused was in rented premises and now he is not residing in the said address or in the town. He is totally unheard of the whereabouts and could not be traced. At the same time, Page No.1 of 3

the dependants have also filed a claim petition before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal and the award has also been passed. Now, thirteen years have passed by and if the accused is again brought to books in the future date, the same would impinge upon the right to speedy trial of the accused and no useful purpose will be served by keeping this matter pending and accordingly,the case in C.C.No.72 of 2019 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Jayamkondam Taluk, Ariyalur stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is disposed of.

21.08.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
