Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner based on the representation of the petitioner dated 16.11.2023 sent in favour of all the respondents pertaining to the 1/5
property situates in survey Number 1641/28 Door No.16/17 Varathrajapuram street kanchipuram measuring east to west 24 feet north to south eastern side 120 feet north to south western side 122 feet totally 2904 square feet.

Aggrieved by the fact that his representation dated 16.11.2023 for the issue of patta, though received by the respondents, has not been acted upon, the petitioner has filed this writ for mandamus.
2. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, which have not been refuted by the respondents, a mandamus is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 2/5
16.11.2023, hold an enquiry, afford him an opportunity of personal hearing and thereafter dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case of a rejection, speaking orders shall be passed.
4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
