With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking direction to direct the second respondent to consider the representation dated 07.06.2019 to include the petitioner for the promotion of 1/3

Assistant Executive Engineer Civil in the light of the TNEB service Regulation No. 94.

3. The case of the petitioner is that petitioner has joined in the respondent Electricity Board during the year 1996. Initially he was appointed as Office Helper (Trainee) in the respondent Electricity Board on 10.01.1996. Thereafter in the year he was appointed as Draughtsman and further appointed as Senior Draughtsman. Thereafter promoted as Senior Draughtman and further promoted as Junior Engineer Grade-II and further promoted as Junior Engineer Grade-I and thereafter on 07.06.2019 the made a representation to promote him as Assistant Executive Engineer Civil, till date not considered. Hence the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to issue direction the first respondent to consider the representation dated 07.06.2019 and pass orders within a reasonable time.

5. Mr. P.R. Dhilip Kumar, learned Standing Counsel, agrees to dispose of the representation dated 07.06.2019 within a stipulated time.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the first respondent to dispose of the representation dated 07.06.2019 submitted by the petitioner and pass order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
