ORDER
This Suo Motu case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.)No.618 of 2025.
2. The allegation in this case is that in the Sholinghur car festival on 27.04.2018, a gold chain of the defacto complainant was stolen and even in the complaint, the accused was suspected, thereafter the accused was apprehended and the gold chain was also recovered and the same was also handed over to the defacto complainant.

3. It is seen that the accused has given address at No.7, Pallivasal Street, Perumugai Village, Vellore District. It is now represented the accused is not residing the said address and she is a nomadic person and gone away from the place. It is also further stated that, there is no immediate scope of tracing her.
4. Considering the fact that the case is of the year 2018 and no useful purpose will be served in keeping the matter pending and the property was also recovered and handed over to the defacto complaint. Accordingly, the case in CC.No.69 of 2018 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court, Sholinghur Taluk, Ranipet is quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is disposed of. 21.08.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
