ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd Respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.10.2022 and direct the 3rd respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in Survey.No.180, measuring an extent of 0.45 cents situated at Paramanandhal Village, Sengam Taluk, 2 . Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents.

It is the case of the petitioner that he is the absolute owner of the property comprised in Survey No.180 to an extent of about 0.45 cents at Paramanandhal Village, Sengam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, vide the registered partition deed dated 23.03.1995, wherein agricultural activities are being carried out by the petitioner for more than 25 years. While being so, the petitioner made a representation dated 19.10.20222 to respondents, requesting to issue patta in his name in respect of the above said property. However, till date, the said representation has not been considered. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

Though very many grounds have been raised, however, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 19.10.2022 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same, within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent/Tahsildar to the consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.10.2022 seeking to issue patta in favour of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to the aggrieved parties if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No Costs.
