PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents police to withdraw, recall and to lift the Look-out Circular Notice in C.No.142/DC/Amb/Camp/2019 dated 04.05.2019 against the petitioner in Crime No.09 of 2018 pending on the file of the third respondent.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein has challenged the Look-out Circular dated 04.05.2019, which has been issued in connection with Crime No.09 of 2018 for an offence under Section 498A I.P.C.

2. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that pursuant to the Look-out Circular, the petitioner herein was arrested. As such, the purpose for which the Look-out Circular has been issued in Crime No.09 of 2018 has been served and therefore, in view of various decisions of this Court, the Look-out Circular lapses.

3. In view of the same, the Look-out Circular dated 04.05.2019 issued against the petitioner herein shall stand quashed. If at the respondents police are of the view that the petitioner's presence, who claims to have been released on bail, is once again required, it is always open to them to seek for a fresh Look-out Circular.

4. The Criminal Original Petition stands ordered accordingly.
