This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's application dated 21.08.2024 filed under Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the application dated 21.08.2024 submitted by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
