ORDER

The allegation in this case is that on 15.01.2019, when the Police went for rounds, the accused persons were generally abusing the public and were threatening the common public near the water tank.

2. In that background, a case was registered in Crime No.33 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 353 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code. It can be seen that the case is pending for the past six years and the summons Page No.1 of 3

itself are not yet served. Even in future, if the summons are served and the accused are brought to books, considering the nature of allegations, it would impinge upon their right to speedy trial. In view thereof, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the case pending.

3. Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.211 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.II , Kallakurichi Taluk, Kallakurichi, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of. 21.08.2025 grs electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
