The Writ Petition has been filed for direction to the Respondents to allow the Petitioner to continue in service till he attains the age of superannuation of 60 years as per Rule 56 of the Fundamental Rules of the Tamil Nadu Government. 2.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that by efflux of time, the relief sought in this Writ Petition does not remain for consideration, and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.

In fine, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
