C.O.No.187/2012 dated 10.11.2012 and quash the same and consequently remand the proceedings speedy disposal. For Petitioner : Mr.N.Mahendra Babu 1/4

ORDER

The order of suspension dated 10.11.2012 suspending the petitioner from service while he was an Office Assistant in the third respondent's office is put under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. Though the writ petitioner had challenged the order of suspension, it is seen that subsequently, charges were framed against the petitioner and after detailed inquiry, a punishment of compulsory retirement was also imposed on him.

3. When final orders have been passed and the petitioner has also compulsorily retired from service by way of a punishment, no useful purpose would be served if any interference is made in the suspension order. Thus, the moment the final order of punishment has been passed and the petitioner's services have been terminated, the suspension order becomes redundant, Hence the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. 28.11.2023 Index:Yes/No Internet:Yes/No gpa 2/4
