Mr.A.M.Venkatakrishnan, learned counsel along with Mr.T.Pandiyan of M/s.P K Law Firm (Law Firm), who is before this Commercial Division, submits that the intended plaint is a typical John Doe suit qua a movie which goes by the name 'Drishyam 2' [hereinafter 'suit movie' for the sake of convenience and clarity] in Hindi language, which is scheduled for theatrical release on 25.11.2022 (Friday).

3. Defendants 1 to 12, 14 to 26, 29, 31 and 32 are carrying on business outside the territorial jurisdiction of this Commercial Division and that has necessitated the captioned LTS application is learned counsel's say.

4. Adverting to paragraph 7 of the affidavit filed in support of the captioned application, learned counsel submits that part of cause of action is arising within the jurisdiction of this Commercial Division as the theatrical release is scheduled in Chennai.
