The present Miscellaneous Petition has been instituted seeking for an interim direction to the respondents to provide proper medical treatment to the petitioner's son, namely, Mr.Thangaraj, son of Miniyandi, admitted in the Government Hospital, Coimbatore.

2. Mr.E.Raj Thilak, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has already been admitted in the Government Hospital, Coimbatore. If so, it is needless to state that proper medical treatment to be provided to the petitioner by the Hospital administration.

3. In this regard, the Superintendent of Prison, Central Prison, Coimbatore, is directed to ensure that proper medical treatment is provided to the petitioner at the Government Hospital, Coimbatore.

4. This Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of.

5. The respondents shall produce the medical report of the petitioner before this Court on 14.10.2024.
