ORDER

The allegation in this case is that on 27.03.2021, the accused had drawn the symbol of a political party in the wall of the private person without permission. Accordingly, a case was registered and a final report was also filed on 04.04.2021 and the accused is also apprearing before the Court regularly. Even though four years have passedby, the trial is not commenced. Any further continuation of the case will impinge upon the right to speedy trial of the accused.

2. In view thereof, this is a fit case for exercise of power under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., and accordingly STC.No.992 of 2021 shall stands quashed and the Suo Motu Transfer Case stands allowed.

The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
