Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to cancel the patta bearing 0.552 issued in the name of 3rd respondent for the property comprised in survey No.218/2 and 218/5A of Periya Karumbur village and consequently to restore the patta in the name the petitioners father Mr.M.C.Ramachandran by considering the petitioners representation dated 26.2.2024 within time frame.

ORDER

The relief sought for in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to cancel the patta bearing 0.552 issued in the name of 3rd respondent for the property comprised in survey No.218/2 and 218/5A of Periya Karumbur village and consequently to restore the patta in the name the petitioners father Mr.M.C.Ramachandran by considering the petitioners representation dated 26.2.2024 within time frame.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the 1 st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2024 and, after affording the petitioner a personal opportunity of hearing, pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
