The writ petition has been filed to directing the 1st respondent to give protection based on the complaint given on 04.04.2017 to her life and property.

2. The petitioner seeks police protection for her life and property. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.
3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
