For Petitioner(s) : Mr.G.Pavendhan For Respondent(s) : Mr.S.Rajesh Government Advocate O RDER Though the present writ petition has been filed challenging the acquisition proceedings initiated by the respondents in respect of the land situated at No.180, Maathur Village, Sriperumbudur Sub District, Chengalpattu District in Survey No.457/B, Vijayalakshmi Nagar, Part-3, Layout, Plot No.245 to the extent of 3140 sq.feet, it is now stated that the petitioner had passed away.
2. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate for respondents that the land acquisition proceedings is over and the award amount has also been deposited in the Work Deposit.
3. In view thereof, the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner are at liberty to withdraw the amount deposited in the Work Deposit in the manner known to law.
