ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondents to grant ordinary leave for 30 days to the petitioner's son namely, Kathiravan, S/o. A.Neelamegam, aged 24 years, Life Convict Ct.No.15639, now confined in Central Prison, Cuddalore, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. The petitioner, who is the father of the convict, seeks ordinary leave on the ground of attending the marriage of his sister.

3. Inasmuch as the reason assigned is not in dispute, we are inclined to grant two weeks' ordinary leave to the convict with minimum escort (2 in number) subject to the usual conditions that can be imposed so as to enable him to attend the marriage of his sister. The convict shall be released at 10.00 a.m. on 14.11.2019 and he shall return back to the prison on 28.11.2019 at 5.00 p.m.

4. In such view of the matter, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands disposed of.
