The petitioners, who are A3 and A4 in Crime No.211 of 2023 seek bail. The said crime number had been registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 5(i), 5(j)(ii), 6 & 17 of POCSO Act, and Sections 363, 312, 511, 109 & 341 of IPC.

2. It is stated that A1 had physical relationship with a School student, who was his junior. The petitioners are the parents of the A1. The victim child became impregnated.

3. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the other accused had been granted bail. But these accused are the main persons and the victim child must be given the confidence to give statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. At this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
