The petitioner/A2 in P.R.C.No.46 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Attur, Salem, seeks bail in Crime No.167 of 2023 registered under Sections 294(b), 506(ii) and 307 of IPC and subsequently, altered to Sections 294(b), 506(ii), 302 and 109 of IPC. 2.The petitioner had been remanded to judicial custody on 22.08.2023. The deceased is the own mother of A1. Sofar as this petitioner is concerned, the matter came up for consideration in Crl.O.P.No.21430 of 2023 and noting the facts and the manner in which the deceased was murdered, this Court had dismissed the petition for bail. Even at that time, it had been observed that the Magistrate should commit the case to the Court of Sessions and charges should be framed and thereafter, there could be consideration of bail. 3.Though the matter had now been committed to the Court of Sessions, the charges have not yet been framed. 4.At this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
