ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned XIII Judge, Court of Small Causes (Rent Controller), Chennai, for early disposal of the original petition in R.C.O.P.No.1194 of 2018.

2. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in this revision petition, this court is of the view that no notice is necessary as no prejudice would be caused to the other side if a direction is issued to the court below for early disposal of the original petition.

3. The petitioner, who is the landlord in the original petition, claims to be a senior citizen. She has filed the rent control original petition for eviction of the respondent/tenant on the ground of willful default in payment of rent and own use and occupation. Though original petition has been filed in the year 2018, there is no significant progress in the trial of the same. Hence, the present revision petition.

4. Considering the limited scope of the relief and age of the petitioner, this court directs the learned Rent Controller to dispose of the original petition in R.C.O.P.No.1194 of 2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
