Petitioner seeks police protection apprehending danger at the hands of the private respondents

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, petitioner was caused summons to participate in the enquiry to verify whether he is essentially required for police protection. But, petitioner has not participated in the enquiry.

3. In the light of the above facts, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of giving direction to the petitioner to attend the enquiry on summons and if the respondent police is satisfied that petitioner needs police protection, same shall be provided.
