O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to effect the sub division of Joint Patta No.375 in respect of Survey No.70/1A1BA1 measuring 12943 3⁄4 sq.feet situated in Lebbaigudikadu, Kunnam, Perambalur and to issue individual patta to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the request made by the petitioner for sub division of Joint Patta No.375 in respect of Survey No.70/1A1BA1 measuring 12943 3⁄4 sq.feet situated in Lebbaigudikadu, Kunnam, Perambalur, conduct enquiry, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No

costs.
