ORDER

Today, the matter is listed under the caption "for reporting compliance".

2. This Court, while disposing of the present appeal on 12.02.2025, had directed the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Hosur, to dispose of the case in STC No.23 of 2013 on or before 28.03.2025 and to file a compliance report before this Court on or before 01.04.2025.

3. Now the compliance report has been received from the Principal District, Krishnagiri, in which it is stated that at the stage of DWs, the complainant filed a petition under Section 257 Cr.P.C. to withdraw the case as settled out of Court and based on which, the case in STC No.23 of 2013 was dismissed on 14.03.2025 as as settled out of Court and withdrawan and the accused was acquitted from the offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act . The copy of said order has also been enclosed.

4. The learned counsel on both sides also submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties and the complaint has also been withdrawn by the complainant. The same is recorded.
