This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed to extend the time granted to the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.21626 of 2023, dated 22.09.2023, to surrender and file bail application before the Learned Principal and District Judge, Chengapattu, by another 4 weeks.

2. Offence under SC/ST Act. This Court, on 22.09.2023, has allowed the petition seeking direction to the trial Court to consider the bail application of the petitioner on his surrender before the Court on the same day, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Though, this Court has directed the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court within 2 weeks and on his surrender, the trial Court to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day. 4. Since, the petitioner has not complied the order passed by this Court, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition for extension of time. It is always open to the petitioner to surrender and seek bail in the manner known to law.
