ORDER
The complainant is present and submits that she has recovered her stolen chain. There is no previous case against the accused. The occurrence took place on 19.09.2017, and the final report has been pending since 2018. Summons and warrants could not be served or executed all these years. Even if the accused is apprehended now, continuation of proceedings would impinge upon his right to a speedy trial. No useful purpose will be served in keeping the matter pending.
2. Accordingly, the case in C.C.No. 100148 of 2018 on the file of the Page No.1 of 3
Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Jayamkondam Taluk, Ariyalur shall stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands allowed. 25.08.2025 nsl electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
