ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash F.I.R.No.53 of 2017, dated 20/7/2017, pending on the file of the first respondent, for the offences under Sections 120 (b), 420, 466, 467 and 468 of the IPC.

2. The crux of the allegations indicate that the petitioner appears to have forged certain documents and claimed as the owner of the property and entered into sale consideration and received a sum of Rs.50 lakhs from the defacto complainant.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

4. From the docket order, it could be seen that in the last hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has sought adjournment, on the ground that the matter is likely to be settled.

5. In view of the allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is of the view that its a matter to be investigated properly and the same has to see its logical end.

6. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
