This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner/accused to enlarge them on bail in the event of his arrest by the respondent police in Crime No.Not known of 2023, on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up, it is informed by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) that, enquiry is pending against the petitioner in CSR.No.1260 of 2023.

3. With regard to the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Court is of the view that, respondent police may continue with the petitioner enquiry. The petition seeking anticipatory bail would not arise.
