The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.08.2023 registered for the offences under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) & 25 of NDPS Act, in Crime No.600 of 2023, seeks bail. 2.It is stated that the petitioner was found in possession of 2.100 kgs of Ganja which is an intermediate quantity and the petitioner was found near the College, with an intent to sell ganja to the college students. 3.It is also stated by the respondent that there are six previous cases against the petitioner herein, out of which, 5 cases are similar in nature and 1 case is registered under Explosive Substance Act. 4.Taking into consideration the antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 19.10.2023 vkr https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
