ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu.W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025.

2. The victim is present before this Court. She is staying alone in a working women's hostel and is employed in an export company. She was rescued and the attempt of child marriage was thwarted. The case has been pending since the year 2020. Her parents are aged and now ailing. She submits that the accused may be forgiven and the case may be appropriately dealt with.

3. Considering the nature of allegations, the background of the accused, Page No.1 of 3

and the above facts, this Court is of the view that the continuation of the case beyond a period of five years would impinge upon the right to speedy trial of the accused.

4. Accordingly, the case in CC.1/2021 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (in the Cadre Of Judicial Magistrate),Villupuram Taluk, Villupuram shall stands disposed of and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands disposed of.
