The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.128 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1A), 4(1)(aaa), 4(1)(ii)(B) 14 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, and Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is under incarceration from 02.04.2023.

3. On behalf of the respondent, it is stated that the petitioner had been found in possession of 1.100 Kgs of ganja and 420 litres of arrack and also 64 bottles of Brandy.

4. It is seen that there are 30 previous cases pending against the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the nature of the offence and bad antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 19.10.2023 ata https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
