ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.The case was registered in Cr.No.177 of 2019 dated 08.10.2019 for the alleged offence under Sections 294 (b), 324 and 506 (2) I.P.C., based on the allegation that the accused had attacked the complainant with a wooden log. From the medical certificate issued by Doctor S.Ravichandran of Praveen Page No.1 of 3

Speciality Hospital, Chidambaram Road, Jayankondan, it is certified that the accused has since turned schizophrenic. The complainant has also died. Accordingly, there is no likelihood of any meaningful trial being conducted and no useful purpose would be served by keeping the matter pending. 3.Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.54 of 2020 of District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Senthurai Taluk, Ariyalur, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.

The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
